    Which of the following happened?

    1. None of the employees were willing to play

    2. None of them guessed it right their first try

    3. PHB declared himself the winner, since he was the first to know the right number

Why make your subordinates work so hard for such pithy rewards, PHB? (I know it’s the way of the corporate world these days but still….) :/

We had so many empty cubicles on our floor (for nearly a year) until the company close our site. I stuck it out, got laid off and applied for unemployment. I tried my best to get work but sadly no one wanted a a seventy five year old engineer. I should have run for president!

They are all such masters at boosting morale. Well, kissing the butts of their higher ups to keep them happy.

    Carol uses the $10 to buy a lottery ticket… wins 10 million… and quits…!

$10 in 1997 would have been $15.90 (using the consumer price index) in 2019, and probably about that today. Just figuring what kind of sit down restaurant that would pay for.

I googled “can you still get traveler’s checks”? Apparently you still can. I haven’t used those since the 90s, though.

Why is it I have never won a prize where at least one person wasn’t mad at me for getting it? It’s not my fault I had the winning ticket.

PHB declared, but then bought another for taxes, since he was broke.

I always thought it was hilarious that management wanted everything cleaned up before clients toured through. Oh, yeah, nothing inspires a client like that Chapter 11 look with all the employees having nothing to do but sit at their nice clean desks. /s

$10? Wow! Doesn’t even get you a combo at the drive-thru anymore, let alone in a sit-down restaurant with wait staff. Hell, not even a decent tip for most occasions.

Once again the PHB shows that he has no idea what’s happening in the office and that he has no respect for his employees. Is there any doubt why he is in charge.

The PHBs biggest problem was finding a place to get Dinner for only $10.

Enjoy your lonely, friendless $10-meal, PHB. It is too much to hope for, that you might have learned a lesson….

Why is “traveler’s check” in quotation marks — twice?
