That’s actually why some reports get lost.
One of the big bosses left and they found all kinds of unresolved stuff on and in his desk.
Dilbert USED to be funny back in the day. I think Scott Adams now is more concerned with politics etc. I think he’s had fewer funny strips in the past year than I can count on one hand. These older ones were always on-target and usually funny… not his new ones though.
I enjoy the Classic Dilberts, and I enjoy the new ones that my newspaper has! I think they’re all funny.
This is way too true! I am moving, and tried to put my change of address in to the Election Department so I can vote next time. Online attempts were a failure. Talked to a very nice lady, who sent me a paper form to fill out. After I mailed it here at the apartment complex, the mailboxes were broken into and all the mail, incoming and outgoing, was stolen. I called Elections back to see if by chance my form had gotten there. The poor lady who answered said they had 1000-plus forms they hadn’t been able to enter into the computer yet because they need some more authorization of some sort from the State. I gave her my condolences, and said I’d mail a new one to increase my odds. Fortunately, I had copied the old one, so I was able to make another copy and send it.
Tom’s backlog is only a slight exaggeration of what reality is often like….
