i have worked many customer service and tech support lines in call centers, and this is how companies actually think, not to mention they are more worried about how long the call is, or average handle time (AHT), and not whether the issue was fixed, so they would give us scripts that will reduce call time, and many companies told us to hang up the call after the call went past their time limit, even if he issue was not fixed
So much for job creators.

While this is not a solution, I’ve seen enough customer service people to say he is correct. They do a really terrible job. The quality of their service is about as good as their pay.
