Suspect #3, Ms. Clampett, is the third one who came looking for money, intending to negotiate alimony. So far, she’s the only one that stands to get more than she came for by H.K. being dead, I think.

She must be one of the few women who walk around in a bare-shouldered dress when there’s snow on the ground, although I’ve seen some university students here heading out to a nearby club wearing a short dress and no coat in sub-zero weather (high heels, too) because they don’t want to pay the coat check to hold onto their coats.

Since we’re dealing with 60s TV characters, I wonder if Ms. Clampett is supposed to be Elly May Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies. And if she wasn’t wearing a coat, I guess that ruins my coat rack theory from yesterday.

Money seems to be the theme with this, as it often is. Everyone was owed something by H.K. Maybe his financials weren’t as shiny as they all think.

Apparently she doesn’t understand the term “ex-wife”, since she goes on and says they are still married.

Hmm. Is her name Bobette Clampett? Seems like an animated little thing.

Her kids might be named Beany and Cecil.

The art on both of these were full bore;not the sketchy stuff done on Dick.One Tracy “Minit” I remember was death of millionaireJ.Pierpont Moneypacker;who supposedly fell off theroof of his house while trying to save money doing his own repairs.

His two nephews swore they hadn’t touched anything or moved the body.

Nice layout and art today! The “Tracy=panel divider” gimmick is clever, and M®s. Clampett is looking hot enough to not need a coat even in snowy weather…

Most likely suspect so far, but not enough information to solve the case. Especially since they haven’t even given a cause of death! They just said they found him dead, for all we know so far he had a heart attack.
