Very nice colouring today. They maybe went a little overboard with the red glow, but you can’t miss it. Tracy did try to warm him, but he refused to listen! I suppose that he was adamant about not letting anything to distract him after what happened with the owl.

Can Tracy save him?

You know, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen Tracy drawn in that pose in the last panel before.

From his shadow, it appears Bones is missing a hand.

Could Bones’ goose be cooked. It’s not looking good for him.

That’s quite a “hand job” Bones is getting. I like Tracy’s running pose.

Bones might just shoot Tracy one last time while he is on fire. Bones might be toasted to the bones by tomorrow as he is now ablaze.

Was it ever mentioned how Bones got his name?

I’m torn.

Good action, great art.

But isn’t a bit too convenient that the out-of-date Samsung Wrist Wizard is the one who nabs the bad guy?

Another question: Were the outdated WWs 100% liable to catch fire? Even Samsung phones weren’t that bad!

Also makes you wonder why BJ wanted it in the first place, let alone, what was he doing with it all this time?

Well, it’s logical that he didn’t believe what Tracy told him, since bones lie all the time, he figured Tracy does too.

Never deny the audience what they want! HaHaHa!

Illogical, rushed endings have been the norm for the strip for so long I can’t think of what was the last story that had a well planned out satisfying conclusion.

I’ve stopped complaining, it changes nothing. That’s as futile as yelling at an infant for soiling it’s diaper or getting into a conflict with Matthew!

Call the "Good Hands " people quick!

Bones should have watched more movies or played more video games. When things turn red they explode, everybody knows that.

Is this why the old wizards with the cool holographic communications were recalled?

This is the second time this gimmick has saved Tracy’s bacon. Maybe Smith Industries should rebrand that legacy wrist wizard as the Ex Machina.

Tracy could’ve said “I told you that wrist device’s battery was going to blow, but nooo, you didn’t want to believe me, and, now look at you!”

He should have said, “Arrghh”! That’s standard parlance.

After what he did to BJ, Bones is getting what he deserves. Too distracted to listen to Tracy now. But I reckon we’ll know soon enough.

Dick shoulda just kept silent. That last panel would be much better simply without his dialogue.

Maybe the reason Diet SMith HQ went up was all those lithium batteries in the storeroom.

Whew, that was an ordeal—100 comments to wade through, and so many good ones, but not a one by me! Opps.

Mr. Bones is rushed to the hospital. After 24 hours or less in the operating room, he’ll live. However his hand which held the wrist wizard had to be amputated. No bionic parts for a hand are on the market yet. However a prosthesis could be available for him. I can imagine his day in court, attempted murder on a police officer (Tracy) and a civil suit from Blackjack for theft of his collection. Too add insult to injury no get-well card from the Apparatus. Oh well, Mr. Bones knew the job was dangerous when he took it.

OH MAN!! OH GEEZE! The lighting (and presence of drawn flames) makes it look like quite the fire has started! Stop drop and roll! Stop drop and roll! Everybody do it! Everybody shout! Stop drop and roll ’till all the flames are out!

Tracy tried warning him, but in his rage, Bones won’t listen. The reddening wrist wizard exploded and (going by the evidence of his shadow in panel 3), the Bad Richard has lost his left hand at the wrist. Grim. Maybe the Good Richard can stop any bleeding and save Bonhomme’s life, albeit for imprisonment once out of hospital….
