BTW – it’s interesting to see Mumbles play a big role in this tale.

Ace is slowly figuring out that letting everyone conceal their identities in your HQ is a bad idea.

Do those eyes in Panel 1 look feminine to you? Or am I imagining it?

He thinks Briar Rose might have persuaded Jack to let her beat him up? That’s some late-night stuff!

Ace should have acted on his suspicions, instead of puzzling out the story’s inconsistencies

SO, what would Doubleup do upon discovering who’s in the Jack suit, if Tracy is his idol?

As inept as the police are being portrayed in this arc, unable to find anything on their own and desperate for coincidence to dump a clue on their laps, at least the thugs are shown as even dumber. Dump and Dumber… might make a good movie title.

I have suddenly realized that Mumbles is behind all those “If you can read this..” memes on Facebook!

I suppose Ace of Spades was asking Mumbles a rhetorical question. If he (Mumbles) had been given the assignment, they would not be having this conversation.

Next thing Ace will probably say is Briar Rose seduced Jack. When she was at their headquarters he could have snuffed her out there. Seems to me Ace is looking for a scapegoat. Oh yeah….he has to answer to the Apparatus. They aren’t kind towards sloppy work.

Where is the person on this site who can interpret Mumbleleeze? Dang now I wish I had been in group in my high school who got the chance to take French. Gee whiz, this guy must have a speech impediment. I guess his date understood him.

I strained to read Mumbles remarks in the first panel….I think its “didn’t he have no gun”? I am not trying with the second and third panels.

Mumbles doesn’t seem to like smoke blown in his face in panel 3.

I must be getting soft hearted.I’m hoping Doubleup decides to take"paid vacation" before the raid starts.

Mumbles and the not-as-bright-as-he-pretends-to-be Ace of Spades are just now catching up to the real ace commentators on this board. “Jack” Tracy, however, needs his team to show up ASAP, because Ace of Spades is getting close to realizing that this “Jack” isn’t kosher from the Marmel’s Deli!

Regarding “Tracy” – “What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” I don’t know if that applies to clouds of cigar smoke.
