Mysta’s pose suggests one who is questioning whether she should have gone along with this promo scheme. She has the look of one who is emotionally spent. The itchy horns may only be the half of it or am I over imagining ?

Why is Mysta calling Alldid “Honeymoon”? Surely they don’t sound alike!

The prosthetics never itch, it’s the glue and sweat from your skin having a reaction.

Mystra took a pass on the dinner offer but consented to go to Vera’s apartment complex? Whoo! This guy could charm the spots off of a leopard.

Makes me wonder does her contract just including modeling Mars Maid attire or will she get a percentage from the book sales? Probably not but I figured it would not hurt to ask.

They have the pool all to themselves….maybe they practice on their breast strokes and swan dives later.

When you have a model who comes with horns WHY would you give her prosthetics to begin with?

Disturbing that this person could “sound” like Honeymoon. Also the left hand is suspicious…definitely holding something.

The curtain rises on Act II. The first Act gave us Vera ending his writer’s block with the creation of Mars Maid, a new character for his strip, J. Straightedge Trustworthy. Sam and Tracy are aware of Mysta’s role in promoting the character, as they attended a book signing at Frady’s. The Mars Maid is popular and has caught the attention of Mr. Archival (aka: The Collector). We now transition from his ominous declaration of a “better idea,” to the following day at the Diet Smith Industries apartment complex, where Honeymoon joins Mysta poolside. Strong use of the single panel, which reinforces the transition to Act II.

Nooooo! I don’t WANNA’ be mooned! Keep those shorts UP!

Dude must have gotten that 5 gallon jug of Tanning oil from Costco. Once again, comments better than the story. Gotta wonder if these folks know this is a cartoon.

Like some others I’m not a really big fan of Honeymoon, I have no idea what she’s doing in a strip with most likely nearly a 0% readership among adolescent girls, however, I do have to give Joe & Mike credit with coming up with a perfect strip for the first day of summer.

At first glance I thought Honeymoon was holding a tray with a heap of veggie greens. Then I realized the “tray and greens” were one of the planters on the other side of the pool. —Which leads to the conclusion that, yes, the position of her left hand does seem a bit odd and unexplained. Anyway, it’s nice for her to have pool privileges at Mysta’s Diet Smith Employees Housing facility. Does she have some further reason for visiting Mysta “She’s Not Really Moon Maid, but She Plays the Part of ’Mars Maid” for Vile Alldone" Chimera?
