And so, we meet Hope and Charity, a short time after Brian accidentally guessed that they existed. Apparently, they inherited a fortune, and it sounds like that happened recently. This is likely motive for Stokes.

There’s even some personality here and we don’t learn about it by someone describing their personalities. Hope has a free-flowing casual hair and her eye on a flashy classic car, while Charity appears to be reading an investment magazine or possibly a sales booklet for an investment company.

Yes! Hope and Charity!! I blundered into an awesome display of prescience!!!

Well now… Here’s the bigger part of Professor Stokes’ planned, future attacks on the Brown sisters… Their inheritance !

It’s all about the “Benjamins”… ;-D

Big step downward in the plot.

Kill them for their inheritance? That’s so – oh – Perry Mason!

I suppose, next we’re going to find out that Stokes is related to them.

As in, how else would he get hands on their money if they are dead?

Stokes may or may not have getting their money as a main motive or not one at all but that his “donors” happen to be moneyed. If he was just after money wouldn’t some kind of swindle be his method ?  Killing them to get their wealth; it’s like as if he is somehow in the will as the next one in line for it should none of the girls claim it.

Did we swerve off course somewhere and I miss it?

Charity’s hair looks like Stokes’, while both her sisters were blonde. I think we just met the daughter of wannabe Dracula.

Could they be the Collins sisters who inherited the fortune of their eccentric Uncle Barnabas? ;-p

Charity is a bit of a tightwad.

The plot thickens with an inheritance now involved. Very interesting as Arte Johnson would say.

Ah….perhaps it’s not insanity but evil revenge behind Stokes’ heinous plans and actions.

Hmm…investing with a company called VALYU Financial might not be the best way to keep one’s fortune. Also, find it hilarious that Charity’s the one who’s stingy when it comes to cash.

Well, they aren’t triplets, at least not identical ones. But yes, Faith, Hope, and Charity.

Sorry, but that’s some pretty lame dialog.

These two remind me a bit of Eve & Juliet Jones.

We know Stokes was after Faith’s blood. There is no indication as of yet that he is related. Faith did not recognize him. He has set his sights—but not yet his fangs—on the sisters’ blood. Why? There is not yet any evidence that Stokes is in line for an inheritance.

With the sly mention of the sisters inheritance, we may now have a clue as to why Prof. Stokes, vampirist, want the sisters blood.

I hope this is going somewhere.

The question now is, are they involved with killing their sister for the money somehow, or are they the next victims.

Chester Gould’s story line were much simpler and entertaining!

This is getting silly…why all the vampire nonsense if he’s just interested in an inheritance?

Well, kids, looks like we have our motive. Stokes is after… blood money.

1-HOPE: Ya know, Charity, Willie The Wimp was famous for being buried in a Cadillac Coffin. Whadaya think of this sporty number for Faith? CHARITY: A RAGTOP COFFIN? Are you nuts? How would that keep the dirt out?

2-HOPE: Fine. You come up with something then!

CHARITY: Settle down. Maybe you’re right. Faith was a Parking Lot Attendant so maybe a car theme is the right way to go. I GOT IT, now hear me out – the booth she worked in at the lot!

HOPE AND CHARITY: PERFECT!!!

So which Scooby-Doo episode is this a take of where the criminal used supernatural as a cover?

Like that great artist Milton Caniff, now all the females in this strip are beginning to look alike.

With Faith now dead, the other two inherit more. It is divided 2 ways instead of 3. I wonder if Stokes is somehow using the DNA he collects from the blood to try and make it appear he is also an heir to the fortune.

I think Drac wants the sisters to finance his new movie; “I only want to kiss your neck.”

Meeting Hope, the quintessential “dumb blonde,” and her sober sister, dark-haired Charity, also gives us a hint as to what Stokes’s motive may be: an inheritance. While Hope reads Auto Zone magazine and picks out a potential sweet ride (no doubt expensive), Charity reads an investment journal, Valyu Financial, possibly from the brokerage/advisory company she uses.

As I noted above in a Reply, and as Ray Toler has observed, perhaps Stokes is collecting their blood to transfuse himself completely and thereby fool DNA testing (he hopes) so as to present himself as the long-lost surviving heir to the inheritance. (Hey, I didn’t say it would work, only that the obsessive professor might try it.)
