Good morning™, squad room believers!
Tracy believes that Topper and GH are headed to the banks, although we readers have no idea how he knows this.
“Detective’s Intuition” …
Good morning™, squad room speculators !
That’s a mighty big assumption there, Tracy. Those guys would have a hugely brass pair to try to shakedown a whole bank when individuals can be more easily intimidated/manipulated.
Still Da Avenger called it – a possible rushed ending coming up. At the moment, I’m inclined to agree with him!
“Lafayette Austin” still needs to take an active role, though.
Easy explanation as to how Tracy knows everything…. MECCA LECCA HI MECCA HINEY HO!
I see a crossover with Pee Wee Herman coming up! lol
Maybe Topper & Hornet will run into a freshly released Black Jack at the bank.
Sad news; Margot Kidder, the actress who played Lois Lane in “Superman,” died Sunday in Montana. She was 69.
How does Tracy know this? I’m guessing the original Mysta taught her father-in-law a few mind tricks, including short-range precognition.
Hmm. I wonder how Chief Pat Patton and informant Lafayette Austin will react to Tracy’s speculative leap? Austin (panel 3) looks a bit dubious. On the other hand, Tracy has a knack for seeing more clearly into the Criminal Mind than most criminals can. Time to stake out the major banks and be on the lookout for a big black limo with non-local plates! (Come to think of it, we don’t know whether Tracyville and Central City are or are not in the same state, though I tend to see them in different states.)
Pat was the senior partner in the Patton/Tracy partnership. He could be ten or more years older than Tracy, and he would have been a rookie ten years before him. It kind of makes sense that he might have had Lafayette as an informant. How long in comic strip years has Dick been a cop?
