My mother approved of my ex-wife. 30 years after the divorce they still got along. She did not approve of my wife of 26 years. Our daughters picked up on this and on their own called her “Cruella.”
I give her credit for sticking with him, and trying her best to change him. While she loses points for the eye roll, at least she didn’t let him see it.
