    I’ve long wondered why a culture whose cuisine includes rice dishes would ever use chopsticks. Do they eat the rice one grain at a time?

    I have often seen it eaten from a bowl and pushed into the mouth rather than picked up by bites-that fits a dryer long grain rice.
