Trump keeps blathering about replacing the A.C.A. with a better, cheaper plan! The Supreme Court is likely to totally REPEAL the Affordable Care Act the week after the election – I would think now would be a good time to expose the American public to the details, if there are any!

Of course, most of us realize that the republicans have nothing to replace it with, outside of going to the emergency room when ill and then being saddled with a “crushing” medical bill, afterward.

“Repeal & Replace” is an empty mantra, repeated endlessly by republicans to distract from their actual plan of destroying medical care for tens of millions of Americans – THERE’S NOTHING THERE, PEOPLE! NOTHING!

I agree with Barr. We don’t have a democracy, we live in an oligarchy. We need to replace it with democratic socialism. Tax the rich, they can afford it. Everybody does better when everybody does better. Mandatory retirement for all politicians at age 65. Admit lobbying is bribery and end citizens united. The whole world is laughing at us.

I’d characterize what we have today as a kakistocracy, not even up to oligarchy levels. And a lot of the world is depressed by our current state of affairs, not laughing any more.
