It really is a sad sort of porch.

The porch is bigger than his car anyway.

This is known as a “90 degree rock”

Good ol’ Dill, you can always count on him to come up with the next best thing…. Oh, wait a minute; the next best thing means Rockin’ Otterloop was the best… I guess, I meant the next better thing; yeh that’s it.. uh no, wait,.. that don’t sound right?

Try putting the rocker on the porch sideways, Mr. Otterloop.

Sidewalk superintendents! Bah! Get off of my yard!

That’s not a porch, that’s a step.

I detect a subtle lack of empathy with these kids ;)

One of the many, many reasons old (1930ish or before) houses are better!

Alice’s dad certainly does love his far-too-small-for-comfort amenities

Then we can check out my father working under a car which he raised with the jack from the trunk.

Sorry about that, Peter. Everything in Cul de Sac is either too small or too crowded or too cramped. And the kids are heartless. I wonder what will happen to Dill’s Dad? What will the kids do after that accident?
