Poor Madeline . . . I can’t fold maps, either. I doubt that folding a bus is any easier. I wonder if Boris Johnson could help her?

But the book is surprisingly narrow to have an entire bus folded into it.

There actually is/was a “Bus Book” made by Mason Williams in 1967.

Copies can be found online. It unfolds into a 123.5″ × 434″ full sized photo of a Greyhound bus.

Mr. Williams is most remembered (by me) for his guitar piece “Classical Gas”.

Good thing Alice wasn’t interested in “The Big Book of Skyscrapers”, or “The Big Aircraft Carrier Book”.

I prefer ‘The Big Booty Book.’

    It also involves considerable folding.

Mom is absolutely right! Alice cannot “change her mind” after unfolding the Big Bus and before Madeline can fold it up again! Discipline!
