Miles is just enjoying a fine piece of literature, Kevin.

Yes Kevin, the dreaded “Back to School” sales are starting any day now.

Reading should be an Olympic sport.

We used a parachute. One day it didn’t work out so well. My buddy got drug across a cinder covered parking lot, ate through his Levi’s and undies into his backside. I ended up with tree broken ribs. He got to spend hours in the ER getting cinders removed and a couple weeks sitting n a pillow. I got the weeks of pain with broken ribs. After that we turned the parachute into a kite. A 17 ft kite!

Smart Miles, eventually he’ll end up with a better job than Kevin going on more vacations packed with fun.

Miles will look back and remember Kevin’s crazy schemes after reading that Kevin was winner of The Darwin Award at the age of 20.

I miss summer vacations and the three months off for play AND copious reading… that should be the norm for everyone, not just kids…

Or you could build a water slide in the backyard like we did. Books are great, but some skills you can’t learn by reading.

Picking gravel out sounds horrible… but I’ve heard a story IRL, so I know it can happen.

I think it would be fun if we had an arc where Kevin picked up a book and liked it. Now he’s a closet reader lol

Yes, for gosh sake, stick up for READING!(I do look forward to a strip, hopefully one day, when Kevin discovers to his chagrin that he actually DOES enjoy reading a particular book!!)
