I think I may have had this same sort of conversation with my friends when I was a kid…..
When I was a kid, pro wrestling had its own magazines, and the covers always featured someone with blood flowing down their faces. That was cool.
To us kids back then, the actual matches were just filler between the crazy storylines.
I can name a lot of stuff on TV that’s fake.
Wrestling is confusing.
the channel A&E has some great episodes about the history of Pro-Wrestlers. I was never a big fan of the “sport” but the biographies were actually well worth the watching.
I knew pro wrestling was fake, but I never knew it was also a soap opera.
