I’ve heard that if you think you understand quantum physics, then you don’t understand quantum physics at all.

The very fact that you are watching it changes it.

It’s because two people are watching it. It has to pass through each of them, between being emitted as the quanta of a particle, and being received as the quanta of a particle.
