Once you’ve done it a few of times, a simple animated gif only takes a couple of minutes in Photoshop. At least this one has 3 frames instead of 2 and uses variable frame duration so Mike’s gettin’ there. And it’s nice to see someone at least trying to do things the web is suited for which might imply something about readership moving more and more online.
I wonder if there are limits to how big he can make the files? At least the simple color areas in a cartoon compress readily in a gif.
how is it that these Cornered comics are slightly animated? Yesterday the police lights rotated, and today, their heads turn back and forth. None of the other comics do this, that I’ve noticed anyway.
I think the point is that working and being exploited are the same thing. (if you don’t think so, realize that the word ‘use’ is a synonym of exploit).

I’d be a lot more impressed by the new animation if it made the jokes any funnier. Some good sight gags might make it worth the extra work.
