Ya know, the critters have a point here.

I have known teachers like Rob. They keep repeating a word with no useful context or explanation, and expect people to “get” what it means. If you’ve never heard the word “metronome” before, saying that your brother plays piano is not going to clear up any confusion.

For me the real amusement of Get Fuzzy is to always remember that… animals don’t talk! Both Bucky and Satchel are in Rob’s head. He is totally insane, which is fun!

Two days in a row, Satchel and Bucky are on the same page.

This made me think of Burns & Allen.

Rob should have gnome better.

dammit Rob, just tell them the damn definition of “metronome!” There are only so many time you can recycle this Abbot and Costello joke.

As always, the Buckster is a genius.

This arc reminds me of speaking with an elderly person who is hard of hearing, refusing to get a hearing aid, and just messes up a conversation. Sometimes it would turn so funny and then they would wonder why you were laughing so hard at what they said. Real life can be very entertaining too.

The very best humour is based on misunderstandings, farce etc, Darby is a master. Very funny strip! (The shermans don’t seem to get it too well though)
