Reminded of when I was looking for work as a librarian. In my state, I needed a teaching certificate to be a school librarian, but to teach (as a substitute), I only needed two years of college and to pass a test on the U.S. and state Constitutions. (BTW, I succeeded in my quest, at a hospital, almost 25 y.a.)
