It’s just Ruthie being a typical kid. My little granddaughter is the same – She wants me to keep the same old truck I’ve had for years and not get a newer one because she focuses on all the great memories she’s had in the old truck.

Remember, change is hard for everyone – Even MORE so for kids.

What’s wrong with you, did you go off your meds today? This is the second comic where you’ve said something offensive. If you don’t like the comics don’t read them and don’t comment.

I disagree. Ruthie likes her house as a child. I have a mom 88 who does not like change and talks of the past a lot. Children and older people do not like change. If not for Ruthie there would be no comic strip.

How often do you read this comic? Ruthie is no brat.

I read this classic strip (along with the new one) in the afternoons. No doubt some lower form of life posted something offensive this morning and got “flagged”.

In the other one Ruthie has influence from a relative who some would say is teaching inappropriately but I contend that THAT is better than growing up with no knowledge of KQJ10 (like many grown women I’ve known).

It’s better to know a little of everything.
