First appointment can still be late.

I take ‘first thing in the morning’ appointments only if they expect me to ‘produce’ something.. ’Nuf said.

I always bring a book.

Get that little girl a portable gaming system, like the Nintendo DS. That should keep her occupied during long waits like this.
