As a member of the Latino community, let me personally thank Attorney General John Ashcroft for his recent attempt to deputize all police as I.N.S. agents. Now illegal immigrants will be picked up by police and turned over to immigration officials. Therefore, illegals will probably stop calling police to report crime in their community. This is great for the economy! Criminal: At least in my field! Thanks, John Ashcroft!
