Dear gmartin997: This is not a lampoon, it’s an homage. I have watched Star Trek since William Shatner started overacting in the first episode. I am a Trekkie and that man is me. Live long and prosper.

Aw come on even Shatner makes fun of us!

Somewhere along the line “trekkies” became “trekkers”, just as the pot head kids known as “stonies” became “stoners”.

I still treasure my Mr. Spock picture signed by Leonard Nimoy I got when I was in 5th grade.

my dad said it was a stamp……………I still won’t believe him.

If you have never been to a Star Trek Convention and get the opportunity to go, go. They’re a lot of fun.

I’d say that’s a picture of love right there.

Except he’s wearing the uniform from classic Trek, not the motion picture.

One massive error: They had no seatbelts.
