If a teacher was to give out cigars in this day and age, they would be arrested on the spot for drug dealing I expect.

People always have to have some group it’s OK for them to treat like dirt. At one time it was blacks. Irish, Jews and Italians have also been there. Right now, for many people, it’s smokers.
