I have a comic on my fridge now because it reminds me of a situation with my son. I’ve been reading them since I was 5.

I am sure that Richard Thompson is smiling…Greg, is there any higher compliment for a family comic artist, than to see another family comic artist showing his comic family reading the other comic artists family strip together?…If so, I dont want to know about it, because the thought of the above has me in tears as it is. God Bless Richard Thompson and may his travails ease through HIS grace. Thank you for this simple yet heartfelt tribute Greg.

    Awwwww…. This is Cool.

I grew up reading Andy Capp and it still amuses me today.

    Just like The Buckets do!

LOVE Toby’s face expression in the 2nd Panel.

I wonder if Eddy remembers that he met Dill around a year ago… ;-)

Cul de Sac ends strip tomorrow. It was nice knowing Alice, Dil, and Petey.

My folks bought the Smithsonian book of early cartoon strips (starting from the beginning). It’s a HUGE book, about the size of the original papers so that the comics are there in all their original glory. That was my favorite reading on many a day, and I’m still a fan of those cluttered old comics.

My next duty is to expose the kids to Pogo. The satire in that old strip never ages!

Cul de Sac is a masterpiece, took a few readings to grow on me, but grow on me it MOST CERTAINLY did! I can’t find a 2013 day to day for my work desk. I hope there will be one. I have been getting them a couple years now, and they start my day off with at the very least a smile, and when I laugh out loud my co-workers just say, “oh she’s reading her Cul de Sac for the day”.

ALLAN Don’t start hounding me elsewhere about the Christmas Countdown! Save it for OB! It’s bad enough there!
