Woman: Instead of me grading you on this assignment, you can grade yourself...then you can grade yourself on how well you graded yourself and I'll grade you on that...
Years ago we all had to give a 15 minute presentation in class. One student got up, set his project board on an easel and proclaimed simply:" I think it speaks for iteslf."
After 18 years, one day in class, she just snapped. They took her away. After a while, it was clear there was no hope. Now, she sits in the park and makes seating charts of the pigeons.
I had an English teacher that tried this in HS – everyone graded another students’ paper. Didn’t work so well – the students who couldn’t write well couldn’t grade those who did, and the ones that did write well pretty much gave out F’s like candy…….
