    There IS a difference between having kids/babies on the floor, and the mob of juvenile delinquents and infants, age 50+ at Tampa. (I assume she’s addressing the badmouthing about the Democratic floor rules.)

    ‘Furthermore, “tax cuts for the rich”, “republicans hate blacks”, “republicans want to starve children and the elderly”, “republicans want dirty air and water”. You libs always act like those lines are new, clever and revolutionary’-

    THOSE lines are, in fact, not new, clever, or revolutionary. They are only accurate.

    I’m sure WND and FOX will provide a refreshing and perfectly reasonable take on the convention.

    READ Ike’s address to the convention in 1956: The REAL “RINO’s” are the current RNC and GOP. As to the “maturity” of the GOP delegates? How many pacifiers are they providing at the door?

    I’ve voted since Ike was re-elected and this is the first campaign I’ve seen that the MSLiberalMedia is blatantly in the open 100% in the tank for the Dem ticket, Obama/Biden.-the MSM is Daily shilling for and propagandizing for the Dems.They are enthusiastic to hype selected anti-GOP slanders and rumors and outright lies…..-God help the American voters to see through the Wizards’ smokescreens….

    @truecanadianliberal:

    disgustedtaxpayer was born in 1932, so he was not 21 until 1953. Ike was re-elected in 1956.-Remember, 18 year olds were not allowed to vote in those days. Get married, yes. Die in battle, yes. Vote, uh-uh.

    Too bad the convention lost a day. That’s one less day for someone to say something the media could latch onto for soundbyte purposes and spread into the ether. I’m not sure I understand the phrase “left wing media”. So many papers and radio stations are conservative, there is NO liberal radio on my area. And all of the major news organizations-NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox are owned by corporations who have donated much more to the Romney campaign than the Obama. When Republicans say Obama has failed to keep his promises, the reporters fail to ask how success could happen when every thing this president has tried to do since 2009 has been filibustered, blocked, and derided. When Republicans talk about how high the deficiet is, few reporters point out that a great chunk of that debt comes from the unbudgeted wars in Iraq and Afghanistan between 2002 and 2008. It wasn’t until after Obama became president figures for how much was spent, and wasted, came public. I can continue, but even the above verifiable information, some even verified by the Heritage instittute and other conservative groups, will be called lies by those who don’t want to believe a truth if it is contrary to what they want to believe. Obama has failed to live up to my own expectations, but in the absence of a Jeb Bush, or Colin Powell running for office as a republican, I have no choice but to support the dems again. At least they are moderate republicans. I don’t think there are anymore progressive dems.With sadness,C.

I still couldn’t vote when Ike ran for his first term….and I am a “she”…but everything else you said is true. -@eryx…what is the “lie” about Obama on welfare? He has indeed wiped out the requirement for work (real work) for welfare recipients, authorizing states to finalize Obama’s executive order to HHS.p.s. watch the GOP convention uninterrupted on CSPAN to hear the entire list of Obama’s wrong policies and decisions….it is not just his ridiculing successful business creators….it is his marxist re-distribution economics that keeps America in a long-term non-recovery! 23 million unemployed and under-employed….with a true and honest “unemployment rate” of between 15% and 20% of the total of available workers.

    I see you’ve never been among a disabled person, have you?Well, now you can say you have. Just because my body is having a hard time working doesn’t mean that my mind has stopped working.And do you know just why I applied for disability? Because of a mental condition…one that prevents me from being hired in the first place. (And I’ve tried since 2002.) Also, the hip that wasn’t complete when I was born is also acting up, and that slows me down as well..So STFU about “personal responsibility”. I’ve tried to get work, and the Employers around here do not want me to work for them. So what other choice do I have?

    The banter on political editorials is always so interesting. What seems missing is any reference to actions and positions over just the last 100 years. The enticing words of the far right is not reflected in their history. Heed the old adage “Actions speak louder than words”. The truth is there if you search diligently.

    “No, she’s addressing the age 50+ juvenile delinquents in the press box”

    I find that Strange as 90% of the Media is now owned and/or controlled by the Right & Far Right…but Now that I think about it, it is clear that you are right about the press box…as the right bent press box was simply acting, reflecting and conveying what was transpiring on the floor of the Republican Convention, i.e. a group of adult delinquents conspiring to do what Nazism and fascism couldn’t do, establish a totalitarian, theocratic (2-class) corporatist society.
