Bush was such a great president that he is not invited to the Republican convention. What a missed opportunity to celebrate his many, many successes.-His administration’s crown jewel, of course, was the invasion of Iraq.
If the price of gas is so disruptive to your life, stop blaming other people and either drive less or move to a place that doesn’t suck your wallet dry.
As long as the folks in the petroleum industry can manipulate the price of short contract North Sea crude (which is NOT used in the stuff that goes into your car) and somehow connect that to the current price of gasoline and diesel and make record profits doing it, this poop will continue.
And doesn’t it just grind all your gears that we are a net exporter of gasoline? We make a lot more than we can use here. So much for supply and demand theory in that industry…
Masterskrain: You may also be aware that Chevron was increasing storage capacity in the Philippines TWO YEARS before the “Arab oil embargo” specifically to increase supplies to bring to the states at excess profits, from that embargo THEY and the U.S. controlled cartel were orchestrating.

Where I live, we obviously won’t be impacted by Isaac. Gas is already over $4
