Because only a crazy leaf would refuse to listen.

Just leaf it alone, Lucy.

Even leaves dislike Lucy.

This strip immediately reminded me of Sarah Henderson Hay’s poem, “The Builders”. It is so like Lucy’s attitude. I think we all know people like this:

I have taken my “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” DVD from my DVD shelf and put it beside my TV. Definitely the highlight of an already great post-heat-of-summer October.

Can’t burn dead leaves any more. I miss the pleasant aroma of burning leaves.

Oh zip it, Lucy.

You should have told the leaf the consequences of it’s actions (raked and burned) BEFORE it left the tree, Lucy!

Not really sure why anyone would take the time to comment on a COMIC STRIP !

TC’s gallery of the kite eating tree is awesome. Fall is a beautiful season especially here in SW PA. When my friend lived in southern California, she missed fall so much, I had to send her leaves.

All I heard was that it’s due out in 2015…
