Quite frankly, I think a pot-smoking athiest is what America needs in the White House.

Okeley doakely harley, let’s choose a president based upon some sort of nonsense reason. Let’s just forget that robomit will tax the middle class out of existence in order to give himself and a few of the other 1% tax breaks they don’t need. You think things are bad now, wait until bush 3 is in office. More unfunded war, more jobs shipped overseas, more and bigger deficits. Don’t forget cheney’s words about deficits, they don’t matter. Well, now that a Democrat is in office, they do.

Harley, you need to slow your typing down to the speed at which your brain can work. Your grammar and typos are getting so incoherent, I can’t even tell sometimes WHAT conservative fantasy you’re trying to reference.

You’d think that Mitt, being one of the legendary flip-floppers of all time, would be more flexible…..

Almost every thing he stand for he used to be against and may be for even earlier., and what he is against has been for and maybe against that. He will DO or SAY Anything to get elected.

He also won’t talk about his his Mormonism. He is 1st a Mormon, 2nd. a US legislator. I hope we never have to find out if he is planning a Mormon theocracy or not.

I was worried about rightwing extremist Christian conservatives wanting a Christian theocracy, but not much now.

Do Christians believe that Lucifer is Jesus brother? Do Christians believe Jesus had Mary, Mary and Mary Magdalene as his wives? how about this, God became a man, had actual sex with the virgin Mary, and had Jesus and Lucifer for sons, then went back to heaven?

I don’t like that theology, although Mormons themselves are hard working and clean living. They are also good parents and all that. I’ve had Mormon friends who I really liked, but they didn’t want to be president.

“If he is so bad, then why are the Democrats trying so hard to tear him down? The D have gone back to his high school years, failed to make a case. Then they doctored so tapes, Failed again. They have Debbie washerman S out there with a big fat lie about what Mitt said about women. Face it Don’t drink Don’t smoke what are you going to do? Better a goody Two shoes than a former druggy.”-A particularly bad post for you Hq. You criticize Democrats for going back to Romney’s high school days, then criticize Obama for something he did in high school. All the while you skip the fact that Republicans went back to Obama’s birth to find criticism. You mention doctored tapes, but not doctored birth certificates. You call D.W. Schultz on lying about what Romney said, but conveniently skip over lies that have been said about what Obama says. Can’t you judge everyone with the same measure, or will your partisanship not allow you to do so?

Toles did a great cartoon several months ago where Newt and Romney are boxers in a ring, but Romney was a robot and Newt was a Zombie. One of the spectators remarked, “Of course, neither of them can really die!”

bhinkle wrote You guys do not “get” how extreme most of America thinks he is – you’re dazzled by his oratory and the historicalness (sorry) of his skin color ..The only part of America who thinks BHO is extreme is the portion brainwashed by Fox News et. al. – and I don’t care what these plainly deluded – and flat out wrong – people think. I don’t care about his oratory (it’s nice), nor do I care about his skin color..I care about results and where he is taking the country. I’d prefer someone who was less centrist and more radical (despite what you have been programmed to believe about him), but I’ll take him over the ever more extreme GOP candidates who would do nothing but further eviscerate what’s left of the middle class, all in pursuit of their failed, fantasy world ideology. You should face the fact that so many in the right believe in magical thinking – their numbers don’t add up, they refuse to face real world data, and they think they can lie and say anything and get away with it..Again, just because a loony portion of the country has been brainwashed into thinking BHO is extreme, doesn’t make it so, because it just doesn’t fit the facts, nor especially the evidence from the last 3.5 years. I don’t care about Rev Wright, I care about the last 3.5 years.

‘There is only one thing the Republican party is united on: Defeat Obama. Other than that they can’t agree on anything.’--Maybe they don’t agree on anything, but the all vote the same way. Every time.
