So, I can identify what appears to be the Puerto Rican flag, Woodstock, Snoopy, Batman’s cowl, Captain America’s Shield, and the Enterprise on the shelf in the first panel. What are the others?

A professional author I know says that writer’s block does not stop a real writer. They know to start writing as best you can on what you want to say. At some point, you will get into the story, the mental juices will begin to flow, and the good stuff will appear.

Later—at the appropriate time for editing, just cut off the trash, and rewrite if needed. It will be obvious where the inspiration came back.
