I believe the god old USA has started doing this now. But they said that if they passed NDAA we wouldn’t have to worry about them using it on us. Google Brandon Raub and see how they picked him up and put him in an insane asylum for putting anti government statements on his Facebook page. The good old communist USSA.
Two years for causing a “disturbance” does seem excessive, but it’s not killing millions with no opposition. Also, Lindie England can testify about being a scapegoat for “higher ups” that ordered torture, but had “legal opinion” on their side. (written of course, by people they appointed).
The constant “Stalin” claim, who wasn’t a “Marxist” but rather a violent dictator who could care less about Marx, may play well with the McCarthy crowd, and Vlad IS a jerk, but. . .
Putin isn’t a Stalinist, but he is keeping with the old Soviet system. I recall reading about the mysterious deaths of some of his enemies shortly after he came to power.
