Petey’s going into deep anxiety land…

How come they don’t have a DVD, or IPOD, or PS2 or MPEG player like every other kid on the planet?

Nothing could be worse than being in a van with your whole family and stuck in a traffic jam if you are neurotic and perhaps prone to anxiety attacks, such as might manifest in your chewing your arm off….

You sure picked a fine time to head for the beach.

Maybe Petey is reading some poetry by Grunthos the Flatulent.

One of my daughters couldn’t stand to hear my husband and me argue while in the car, or even say something she considered banal. She’d stick her fingers in her ears. We’d have really jolly road trips.

I hope Petey gets the help he needs…my pediatric mental health alarm bells are going off so often with Petey…he could be their poster child of things to concerned about.
