Scott you are so wrong it is not even funny. The fact is that no you should not do what you just said. In fact the problem is that we are pumping TOO much CO2 in the air and cutting down forests, heating up oceans and lowering the saline content which is upsetting for algea, which is used to take in the CO2. Taken in conjunction these two problems aplifly each other and create greater problems for us down the line. There needs to be a certain balance maintained and inefficient over activity by humans is making it ten times worse.
Scott, nobody is telling you, you should shoot yourself to save the earth, they are only telling you to think for a second and take in teh fact that there is an excessive over production of goods that generate alot of waste. These processes need to become more effecient so that we can maintain a decent level of humanity for everyone on the planet. We are going to see the rise of the Southern hemisphere. They have real money and they are going to want to consume more, which is going to mean that people need to become more effecient at what they do, otherwise there isnt going to be enough and what ther eis left is going to be prohibitively expensive.
