See, that spoils the illusion. We were pretending that these were being done while I was away. In reality I worked overtime before the vacation. But I honestly did no strips while I was away.
Truthfully, I’m pleasantly surprised that the focus is on Gilchrist’s version of Nancy’s art instead of Bushmiller’s. It rare to see anyone acknowledge the current version. Ernie’s may be the definitive, but some of us appreciate present day efforts as well.
