I think Wiz is right. We’ve had clear skies and temperatures in the 80’s here but on the day the Olympics open I wake up to grey and threatening skies.
I remember Alistair Cooke commenting that on his first trip back home after living in the U.S. for many years he was impressed at the London weather being so much nicer than he remembered. And then he saw a London newspaper headline: “75F Again Today, No Relief in Sight.” Sigh, it all depends on your perspective.
