Oh, man, a few years ago I asked my girlfriend to look at a mole on my back. It was a tick the size of a garden pea sucking on me. Had to have been there a day or so. I’m not a big fan a being food…

Yuck…I remember them from a boyhood in Arkansaw. Yup, that’s how it’s supposed to be spelled…AND on the upside…we also had lightning bugs, and lots of bats and night hawks who filled the air…probably all gone from DDT now.

Snakes, too.Between the silent bloodsucker parasites and the copperheads I decided to be a democrat all my life instead.

I used a few of the frames of this comic a while back for a party invitation (being in “Conneticut”). I just substituted my face for the deer tick (about an even swap).

I also used that “Shadow of the Grim Reaper==BoSox fan” strip for a birthday card; they didn’t get it . Maybe I should just stick to Hallmark.

My niece was diagnosed with lyme disease and swine flu together. She’s fine now, but what a scare that was.
