For the record, I used to be able to ride one of those devil machines pretty well….And after waiting in the back hall for banquet meetings to break, waiting tables in college with nothing to do but learn how to juggle three lemons at one time….I got pretty good at that..I’ve never put both of them together however…Bucket List…I’m only 59….Plenty of time….

OK, but why aren’t unicycles allowed past that point? You can bet that somebody is going to hear from All Cyclists Love Unicycles.

I can remember this: when I was three or four, my mother told me not to put my hands under the refrigerator. It never would have occurred to me to do that, but suddenly I felt that ultimate bliss resided in whatever was under the fridge. An irresistible force pulled my hand under the fridge, and snap! I withdrew a mouse trap. Maybe if she had explained what was under there . . .When I was in second grade, I attended a birthday party, and was told not to touch the puddle of melted pre-taffy on a plate in front of me. I ended up with a blister on my right forefinger – tooched up a centimeter or so.

Man, that’s some honkin’ storm drain under the couples’ feet. Maybe the unicycle and its rider would be at risk to go into that. . . .

Still puzzling over why you can ride a unicycle in the street but not near that store/restaurant…maybe it’s a china gift shop?
