Yes, Bush did do it with negligence in fiscal regulation, which dominoed Europe’s collapse after the sub-prime implosion.Bush further did it by leaving a trillion dollar deficit, mainly caused by a war on two fronts, one of which was a non-agressor.The smart money is going to stay in Asia for quite a while until the world can trust the USA with its investments
“Government can NOT create jobs” is the Republican mantra. Well, except that Obama, by himself, with the opposition of all Republican members of the Congress IS SUPPOSED TO CREATE ALL JOBS! Where HAS the “private sector” job growth been hanging out as jobs went overseas, or disappeared? Oh, right, cashing in on the tax breaks from Reaganomics and “W”!
That pole is the filibuster rule in the senate that’s kept us from climbing out of this mess, used by the Reeps to stop Obama at any cost. Has there ever been a more disloyal party in American history? at least give his ideas a chance to work. After all he WAS elected by the people.
Henry, you are aware that the GOP did everything in their power to rnsure the economy would stall — do nothing Congress. At least 50% the republicans fault.
Let’s look at the direction of the numbers, not a total or average from the beggining of his destruction. Also, let’s add those who have had to leave the unemployment sector because their benefits ran out or decided it was easier to get assistance instead of looking for work. You Libs don’t want to look at the current situation. Which is why this comic strip is so spot on.

No, that would be the Democrats. The Republicans want the Government to let them make their personal choices not be Government led.
As far as a plan I agree that neither side is coming up with the perfect bill.
