Senators don’t make decisions. The lobbyists do.

Explains why they can vote sitting down.

I did think he reminded me of Boris Yeltsin.

If I had to work on The Hill, I think I’d drink also.

Don’t sit down when you drink.

No, everything else gets in the way of my drinking.

DC is another world, babycakes. So good, though. Our congresscreep bought a house there twenty years ago when he was a lobbyist…and has lived there ever since. Has been our rep for eight years.

Comes back once a month. Reporters aren’t bright enough to realize there are records of this, proving his ineligibility for the office. Doesn’t matter. Except for a predilection for land theft and lying personally, he’s not too bad. Even some local gays have said he’s charming. And every two years he buys drinks at the VFWs.

He has no problem (hah), but the rest of us get to live with the consequences of his muddled decisions.

Doctor: "Do you drink alcohol "1. “Only to excess”2. " Why, you buying?"

No, he makes bad decisions regardless if he’s sober or not.

But it doesn’t affect his swimming.

He’s an upstanding politician until after about the second drink. Thank goodness, they don’t make Oldsmobiles any more…
