    Is Mittens the best the Reeps can come up with? Tax cuts for the rich, more tax cuts for the rich and more etc.. We have had the lowest tax rates in 30 years. WHERE ARE THE JOBS? The Reeps have no ideas at all on how to fix things but they sure know how to stop any democrat from trying to do it.

    Not really. I agree that the GOP has this obsession with low rates (ignoring the spending angle completely), but it’s important to point out that sizable tax cuts in the Kennedy and Reagan years had positive impacts. Even Clinton lowered the capital gains tax rates during his administration, and made it easier for small business to convert to S-corp status. Lowering taxes in itself isn’t sufficient, but it’s incorrect to say that jacking up taxes helps the economy.
