Yes it is. Imagine a drone strike on Hitler and his brownshirts. Assad is the same so really this is wishful thinking. And, modeling after Stalin’s system of spies everywhere, drones will soon blanket the west to spy on us all for business targeting.
The simple fact is, with the dependence on computer controlled weapons, cyber may be the most effective, and efficient “tool” in the box. Add in all the high tech, and vulnerability to pulse weapons (which our aircraft carry in abundance, and increasing) and “conventional” weapons may indeed be “stone age” systems.
