The problem is that while we NOW know that repeated minor concussions can cause neurophysical problems 30 years down the line, the guys that are named in the lawsuits had their concussions 30 years ago, when the long term effects WEREN’T known.In the meantime, medical treatments have improved, helmet design has improved, etc.Should the NFL cover their medical bills? Probably.Should they subsidize the lawyers? NO!!!!!!!!!
Stop damaging kids in elementary school and high school. Millionaire players knew what they were doing, as adults. As for tort lawyers in general, it IS time to go fishing. (BTW, the vast majority of tort lawyers are actually Republicans, or right-leaning, NOT “liberals”)
