Yes, as long as now so many in Congress have nothing better that to verbally defecate their tea party ideology and religious bigotry…….

Needs to be said: Bob used to look like Richard Nixon, but now he’s starting to look even more like David Axelrod. I think the mustache is a big part of it….

Hello Neighbors,Seems that in the last 20 years the most active display of bipartisanship in which our legislatures, national and states, have shown us is their effort to keep us so firmly at odds with each other we’ll keep THEM in office to protect us from the “other guys” extemists…that and preventing anything to allow a third party to gain a foothold. We need each other, and we ARE neighbors and United States citizens. Don’t let narrow minds, whether republican or democrat, turn you against your neighbors. If it is done without honor or ethics- it shouldn’t be done; if it is done without love and compassion- it can’t be done in the name of God or humanity.Respectfully, C.

Just went to my FB page and pretended all those comments were made by congressional leaders…it works! Not much substance to either, and what they DON’T say is more important than anything else.

I don’t have a lot of control over the vacuous brain-blurbs coming out of Congress but I sure can control who I ‘friend’. It’s your own fault if you’re reading vacuous brain-blurbs on Facebook! Get new ‘friends’!!!

Bob’s right about the similar pointless burblings of Congress and Facebook, but ask him if he would invest in Congress. I didn’t think so.

This is one of those times when I go: " I wish I’d said that " ! Thank you for an extremely articulate, well-reasoned , observation. As usual, you bring common sense to a sometimes nonsensical table. Keep fighting the good fight.

You know, I am a hard right conservative, and I thought this comic was perfect to share on Facebook. After reading the horrible crap posted here by sickening Liberals (you DID start it today) I will definitely post it so my friends see it as a slam against FB and congress, not right or left.

Apparently this needs to be explained again. Bob is NOT influenced by Richard Nixon. His character was patterned after one of my favorite character actors, Dabney Coleman…who also resembles Nixon and has played Nixon in movies. Please note that Bob has, and has had, a mustache, like Dabney Coleman. Nixon did not have a mustache.

Please not this explanation for the next time Bob appears with Joe (they’re brothers, by the way) so I don’t have to say it over and over again.

Maybe we should put the lawmakers to work to dismantle laws that are redundant and/or not used. This could help the citizens and also would keep them too busy to posture.

See TrustedMechanic’s last few sentences about current Republicans doing anything they can to avoid staying on topic. Now get back ON topic, and look at the suggestions by Republicans that acid should be thrown in the faces of female Democrat Senators. Is that bigoted? How many Democrats have suggested armed rebellion against the Cons? How many Democrats have argued for YEARS about something as ridiculous as a birth certificate? Yup, anything the Cons can do to divert, threaten, and avoid having to explain their real agenda…

Congress was busy trying to take health care away from poor women, trying to make sure it was hard for the old, and the minorities to vote, and trying to make sure women (mainly poor ones) would have more babies than they do now. AND trying to get out and keep out brown people of the USA. I think they would be better to have fewer poor mothers with babies, make health care available to those who need it, make sure everyone has the right to vote, and let young healthy hard working brown people stay here. just my opinion.

RE: Bob’s resemblance to Richard Nixon. We all know Flo was there at Woodstock.Could she, in one of those crazy late-60s days – have had a “relationship” with RMN himself? Could Bob really be Joe’s half-brother? Could Bob really be THE SECRET SON OF RICHARD NIXON? (It would explain sooo much)

Give me 6 more example of MEGA donors on the Left to match what the above named plus unnamed others are doing on the Right. If you look at Soros and what little he’s donated in comparison, partisan politics aside, contrary to the Republican rhetoric, it’s been a drop in the electoral bucket. Whether the Dems want to admit it ( which they don’t ) or not, Republicans will win this year due to this obscene influx of unregulated money into the campaigns.
