No, that is rule one, alright. Rule 2: She’s always right……You CAN be technically right, and still have to defer to rule #2…..I know, I know….kinda smells like number two, huh? But she’s worth it, right? Mrs. Calabash, that is….wherever she is….

I know this is all the typical “She’s always right” cliches that accompany weddings, but as a reality check… you CAN be happily married and retain your ability to be right while not always having to be right. Of course, what fun is that in a comic?

Wherever there’s a argument and it’s at the point where the emotions are getting high, ask yourself, “Is my winning important enough to possibly end this relationship?”.It may be yes, it may be no. Just keep that in mind.I’m not saying be a door mat for the other, just realize what could be at stake..

Marriage: The wife is always right, you are wrong.

But Marriage is a million times better than any alternative.

I was standing in a jewelry store, a couple were arguing about a ring. The jeweler took the kid to the side and said " I am going to give you the best deal ever. Learn to say yes dear". You will have a wonderful marriage". I learned that after 30 years, wish I heard it earlier, but still too late better than never.

It was the “rehearsal” dinner> The are other names for it, but it is common custom to have a dinner, prior to the wedding, for the immediate bridal party and parents of the bride and groom.

BD you are so cynical! Hah, DugHarry! The spouse pulled the "yes dear’ line on me one day when we were having a dispute, and I started laughing so hard it kinda resolved the issue (old baggage from my side so it was my issue. Never heard the “yes dear” line before, so it threw me for a loop. My formal sig other would have never gone that way. Makes me appreciate the one I got :) One always has to have a since of humor! )

90% of the world’s problems are caused by men, and the other 10% is caused by a man not understanding what a woman wants.

    Either way, you can’t win.

A little known fact about men is we all have the marriage button in our brain. The moment you say “I do”, god reaches down and pushes it, turning it on forever. So whenever your bride does something that the most base instinct that comes to mind is to say “are you out of your $%&*ing mind”?, it is always translated as “Yes Dear”.

In my experience, with each of my former wives (don’t ask), yes. It is rule One, Two, and Three, at the very least.Apparently, I can’t count to “one”, hence the multiple former wives.
