Saying “Good news, you’re going back” when you’re at the Pearly Gates, could mean “bad news” in the long run. He’d better spend the next six days in the Confessional.

It wouldn’t have been so bad, except that he was in that other strip, tied out in the desert over an ant mound.

Life is so hard for some people, it may not be good to go back, it may be HELL to go back for six more days.

You get to go back and you know you have 6 days before you have to get your business done and tie up any loose ends… oh, and to buy a huge life insurance policy before you forget. ;-)

Why would anyone, upon attaining Heaven, even think about wanting to go back to life on earth? The cartoon would’ve been better if it had ended with, “You’re up here 6 days early.”

Plus, he gets to die a second time. I’m sure that’s worth the (brief) trip back to earth – NOT! … and put everyone he knows thru the same (death) ordeal again … that’s some computer error!

As Woddy Allen said: “I’m not afraid of dying, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.”
