My cats are fascinated by gulls – and Peekaboo had better be wary. (My only problem with the strip the past couple of days is that gulls don’t “caw”, crows and ravens do that….)
Franklin’s and ring-billed gulls are seldom seen near a coast, they are inland. Anyone who has been exposed to Utah history can tell you that, and why it is the state bird.

My sister had a cat who used to lie on its back in the yard, and if a gull flew down to inspect it, he’d wrap up the gull and give it what fer.

@OldestandWisest Gulls are everywhere. They don’t just stay by the ocean. You would branch out too if you could fly!
