(Andy Warhol: In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.) Andy lived in a time of mass culture. Everyone watched the same 3 TV Channels. Watched the same Oscar-winning movies. And read the same books from the book of the month club. Pop culture has fragmented. We read one of a million blogs. Listen to obscure bands. And stream movies that are never released in theaters. Even "big stars" are unknown to most people. Now in the future, everyone is famous to 15 people. (Man: My sister is my favorite e-book noveallaist.) (Woman: Who? What?)

That’s because you’re “OLD”. The entertainment/advertising field doesn’t care about anyone over 40. Want to get rid of “survey takers”/ Tell them you’re 60 (or older) They can’t get off the line fast enuff.

I’d say nice non sequitur but I wouldn’t want to confuse you, so I’ll settle for get a life.

This is actually a GOOD thing. The fewer people who get their opinions from ClearChannel musicians, the better off we’ll be.

I think that singer/songwriter Nick Currie, who goes by the name Momus, is the one who first came up with the line “In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 people.”

How long has it been since you attended a ‘government school’ ? How long has it been since you actually sat in a classroom rather than read about one or watched or listened to a broadcast about them?

“… even though it’s taxes created by business that fund it all…”***********************************Huh? Business creates taxes? The big oil companies receive subsidies and pay little if any taxes – but they don’t “create” them. Or am I delusional?
