Love the menu this a.m., Grog and Lonewolf. I think I’ll mosey on up and pick up a chicken fried steak and eggs, please. And, I have a new sippy cup to fill with DWFNC! This one has pictures of a wolf and bison from our last visit to Yellowstone.

We only got about an inch of snow yesterday, and there are a few flakes flirting around right now. 35 degrees, too.

This is a good day to make my world famous beef, vegetable and barley soup. It’ll be on the stove all day, so come on by this afternoon or evening for a big bowl.!!!

Sorry for leaving off the 7, ryku7. It was early for me too.

West Dakota got about an inch or two of snow—but the streets were slushy rather than icy, so we are getting off easy. Now we only need about 4 more inches of moisture to get back to average.

ryku7 – That was a comment about the strip today. :-) It’s nice to know though. On my first post of the day I often make a greeting followed by a food order and then a comment about the strip in italics.

ryku7 – I hope every goes fine for your grandma.

bmonk – We’re still far behind needed moisture but it’s slowly getting better.

Hi AllThanks for all the good wishes. I had a bad sore on my leg that needed attention. It is healing now but I have been told that it may re-occur. Not really what I wanted to hear. But other than that I wasn’t really sick and having to stay in the hospital for 3 weeks with NOTHING to do was a long time.I think the worst part was that I didn’t have internet access so I couldn’t get my daily fix of toons.I hope all is going great for everybody.
